Day 1: Prepare for an extraordinary 16-day expedition Your adventure begins as you land at Entebbe International Airport, where you're greeted and transferred to Via Via Guest House. Settle in and unwind amidst the cozy atmosphere of this welcoming accommodation. Day 2: Journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary After breakfast, depart for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda to see wild rhinos. Embark on a guided rhino tracking experience, contributing to conservation efforts aimed at protecting these magnificent creatures. Continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park. En route, enjoy scenic views and a stop at the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River thunders through a narrow gorge. Check into Pakuba Safari Lodge, nestled in the heart of the park, offering stunning vistas and comfortable amenities. Day 3: Immerse yourself in Murchison Falls National Park Begin the day with an early morning game drive across the savannahs of Murchison Falls National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, elephants, giraffes, and numerous antelope species roaming freely. In the afternoon, embark on a boat trip along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Witness the powerful rush of water as it squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Day 4: Depart for Kibale Forest National Park Depart Murchison Falls NP for Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its diversity of primates and lush tropical rainforest. Check into Turaco Treetops, a tranquil lodge offering a serene setting amidst the forest canopy. Day 5: Explore the lush greenery of Kibale Forest Today, engage in an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking expedition through Kibale Forest. Follow experienced guides as they lead you deep into the forest in search of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. Day 6: Discover Uganda’s scenic Crater Lakes Explore the scenic beauty of Uganda's Crater Lakes region, where numerous crater lakes dot the landscape amidst sprawling tea plantations. Journey onward to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Check into Bush Lodge, offering comfortable accommodations nestled in the heart of the park. Day 7: Enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park Experience the best of Queen Elizabeth NP with a morning game drive through the park's varied landscapes, from open savannah to dense forested areas. Spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, and more is a highlight. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Marvel at the dense population of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species that call this channel home. Day 8: Venture to the Ishasha Transfer to the Ishasha Sector, famous for its unique tree-climbing lions. Explore this remote and less-visited part of Queen Elizabeth NP, known for its breathtaking scenery and elusive feline residents. Day 11: Discover the cultural heritage of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park Explore Mgahinga Gorilla National Park on a bike safari, discovering the cultural heritage of the Batwa Pygmies, one of the oldest surviving tribes in Central Africa. Learn about their traditional way of life and deep connection to the forest. Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park Depart for Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda's smallest savannah park known for its rich biodiversity and scenic landscapes. Enjoy an evening game drive, encountering zebras, impalas, and other wildlife against the backdrop of rolling hills. Relax at Rwakobo Rock, a charming lodge blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Day 13: Enjoy horse riding and wildlife spotting Delight in a morning horse riding safari through Lake Mburo NP, offering a unique perspective of the park and its inhabitants. Explore the savannah plains and woodlands while observing wildlife in their natural habitat. Day 14: Return to Kampala Journey back to Kampala, Uganda's vibrant capital city, stopping at the Ugandan Equator for a photo opportunity and lunch. Arrive at Forest Cottages, where urban comfort awaits amidst lush gardens and serene surroundings. Day 15: City Tour, Shopping & Cultural Dance at Ndere Center Conclude your safari with a cultural immersion in Kampala. Embark on a city tour, exploring local markets such as the African Village Market, where you can shop for souvenirs and interact with local artisans. In the evening, experience the vibrant rhythms of Ugandan dance and music at the Ndere Cultural Center, celebrating the country's rich cultural heritage. Day 16: Bid farewell to Uganda Bid farewell to Uganda as you transfer back to Entebbe Airport, reflecting on the incredible memories and experiences of your Ugandan safari adventure.

All bookings made with GARI TRIPS are subject to these terms. Price of trip includes: Private Ground transport (car and fuel in 4*4), Safari guide, entry cost to all parks mentioned in the itinerary, all activities mentioned (Permits, Boat Cruise, and Game Drives), Accommodation Based on Bed & Breakfast. This is if nothing else has been agreed. Price does not include: International flights (unless special agreement), visa fees, beverages, items of personal use and tips. Adjustments after booking: If you want to make changes in your itinerary after booking we will arrange for this if it is possible. Note that the dates for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking cannot be adjusted after booking. Changes in itinerary: In the case of unforeseen circumstances (such as road closures, bad weather, security conditions or problems with hotels) GARI TRIPS reserves the right to make adjustments in the itinerary to ensure you get the best service. You will off-course be informed about this as soon as possible. Payment: When booking a trip, we ask for 30% down payment and a full payment for gorilla and chimpanzee permits (permits can only be booked and secured by paying!) The full payment of the trip has to be done six weeks before starting the tour. CANCELLATIONS: 60> days to start of safari 10% charge 59-32 days to start of safari 25% charge 31-8 days to start of safari 50% charge- 7-0 days to start of safari 100% Gorilla permits and Chimpanzee permits are excluded from percentages above and are 100% nonrefundable. Means of payment: Payment from abroad should be done through bank transfer to our account in Uganda. Fees for transfer are paid by the client. We accept payment in Cash and Credit cards. During Trip: The animals in the parks are wild so no guarantees can be given of good sightings during game drives or trekking, but rangers and our guides will do their very best to make sure you get a great experience. GARI TRIPS reserves the right to refuse any client behaving in a way that can cause danger/inconvenience to any third party, damage to property, environments or ecosystems to continue the trip. In such a case no refunds will be made and GARI TRIPS will not be liable for expenses occurring due to termination. Vehicles: We put a lot of energy into getting cars that are in a roadworthy condition. Despite this punctures, breakdowns, damage or any other delay can occur due to poor road conditions that are out of our control, for this no liability can be accepted. Complaints: Any issues that occur during the Trip should be reported immediately to the guide and we'll do our best to resolve it. If an issue has not been solved to the client's satisfaction a written complaint should be e-mailed to us no later than 30 days after finishing the safari. Liability: GARI TRIPS cannot accept liability or pay compensation for unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control. This includes flight delays/cancellations, war/threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist attacks, border closure, acts of the government, strikes, thefts, epidemics, road closure, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, fire, technical/mechanical problems to transport due to bad roads and similar events beyond the company's control. Health: It is the responsibility of the client to insure that proper medical precautions (immunizations and so on) have been taken.
